UMW News

Sign-up to Volunteer at our Holiday Bazaar and Turkey Dinner!

Volunteer sign-up for the Holiday Bazaar and Turkey Dinner will begin Sunday! It takes a considerable amount of time for the UMW to call everyone to assign tasks for the festivities; so sign-up now if you have not had an opportunity to choose a task yet. The UMW will be available to assist with sign-ups on the following Sundays: October 7th, 14th, and 21st. Pick your favorite job site for the Turkey Dinner and serve as a family or together with your church friends!! Drop by the table in the Narthex and one of the women will help you choose specific times and tasks. If you can lend a hand, please sign-up or contact UMW President, Pat McCormick.

Prepping the Kitchen for Turkey Dinner

To prepare the kitchen for the Turkey Dinner, the UMW asks that you please check the kitchen counters and/or refrigerators for any leftover food items or containers which may have been left there throughout the year. Please remove them now so there is plenty of room to work preparing for the Luncheon and Turkey Dinner. Thank you for your help!

UMW Meeting & Crafts in October

Gather with the St. Paul UMW for their next business meeting on Thursday, October 11th at 12:00 noon in Brashaber Fellowship Hall! All women of the church are welcome. The hostess will be Betty Richardson and the devotions will be given by Nancy Arbuckle.

The Craft Classes continue in October on the 11th and 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as the crafters finish the final details on their crafts for the Holiday Bazaar. Feel free to come help them with the finishing touches! Bring along a brown bag lunch to the October 11th meeting. The ladies will eat lunch at a local restaurant on October 25th at 1:00 p.m. Don’t craft? Join them for the lunch! Come to the church at 12:45 p.m. to meet up with them before they leave for lunch.
