Here at St. Paul we have a very active youth group, also known as SPY! This group of 15-20 students meets weekly for a time of food, fun, fellowship, and study. SPY also takes trips throughout the year such as a fall retreat, ski trip, and a mission trip. In fact, this coming June, SPY will be traveling to Benton Harbor, Michigan to partner with an organization called MOSAIC Ministries. In order for as many students to be able to participate as possible we do our best to keep the costs for these events as low as possible and in some cases offer full scholarships. So, this year we thought we’d try something new! Today we introduce the Wall of Money! This is a simple fundraiser where you head over to our Wall of Money in the hallway at church, where we have labeled envelopes from 1-200 ~ you pick an envelope with a number of your choice, take it off the wall, and you put the same number of dollars into the envelope and return to SPY via the church office or Sunday offering plate! For example, if you grab the envelope labeled 21 you would be donating 21 dollars ($21.00) to SPY. We appreciate every donation of any amount and feel so blessed to have a supportive congregation behind us. We hope you’ll have fun with us with the Wall of Money. If you would like this donation to be included on your giving report, please include your name and offering envelope number inside your donation.
